Frequently Asked Kart Owner Questions
When can I practice my own kart?
You can practice your kart anytime we are open as long as there is no private event going. During the day we will rotate sessions between rentals and owner karts. On busy day, we might run two different owner session, a slower group and a faster group.
Any provisions for karts?
There is no set tech inspection that karts have to go through. However, we reserve the right to deny entry onto the track if a kart is deemed unsafe, too loud or has the potential to damage the track surface. We enforce a noise level policy: 2-stroke karts must meet 95dB and 4-stoke must meet 85dB. We have a meter that measures the noise level.
What do I need for practice?
It is required that an owner must wear Gloves, long sleeves and long pants. Helmet is a must! Most of our drivers will wear protective gear such as neck collars, rib protectors, chest protectors, ect. Micro, Mini and JR classes MUST wear a neck collar during practice session. SR and Masters it is an option.
If there is a NEW kart owner that has not raced before, ask them to put an X with tape on the back of their helmet. This will let all other racers know this is a new racer and not to race them too hard.
What info do you have for your racing series?
We offer our Trackhouse Karting. For more information visit our “Events” tab on our website and click “Details” under Karting Challenge.
How do I rent a garage?
Our garage lease will be on a first come, first serve basis. When the lease is up, the current owner will have the first choice to agree or refuse. We do have a waiting list and we will contact those customers and offer the garage to them.
